The 1975 Steinway B (refinished and reconditioned by Gary Telleen) that I purchased from Pianos Unlimited is the piano I have always wanted for myself. I have played Steinways all over the world and this is by far, my favorite piano. With its new Renner action parts and Blue Point hammers, it plays like a Hamburg Steinway. I recently completed a solo recording on the piano that will be released sometime in the next twelve months. I couldn't be happier with the results.

 

The experience of purchasing this piano is one I will never forget either. First of all, I found out about this piano from celebrated piano technician Michael Spreeman who lives here in the Phoenix area. He put me in touch with Brad and Gary Telleen who two weeks later brought the piano all the way from Hutchinson, KS to to my home in Mesa, Arizona just so I could try it! Once they set the piano up, it was clear to me that it would not be returning to Hutchinson.

Several years ago, my retirement hobby of playing the piano and singing seemed to "require" the acquisition of a substantial acoustic piano. Our church here in KY sold a piano to Brad and the process was great. He had a driver from his area come to our church. Three other men from a mover closer to us met the driver so they could get the Yamaha grand piano out of our building and into the van. They really knew what they were doing when they moved the piano out a side door onto a small porch and down a tall flight of stairs. No damage to our building at all.

Gary has been servicing pianos for the top musical organizations in Wichita, from the Symphony, and the Opera, to high end home instruments.  The business partnership with Brad Davison is wonderful.  Gary understands the artist's needs and wishes, and Brad is somehow able to miraculously source the instruments accordingly at competitive prices.
